Question: Cabbage patch kids..smell?

Well when i was younger i had a Cabbage patch kid, Her name was Jessica something (i was young) and when i was ten i told mum to donate her to a more needy child....anyway, i noticed that cabbage patch kids, have a really unique smell to them, and it never goes away. I had Jessica for years and my toybox and room reeked of this awesome smell.. anyway today (im almost 17) i bought a new one (Piper Yasmin) as part of therapy. and she has the smell too!...i felt like a child again, and will never forget Jessica, but i was wondering....what is that smell?...no one ever talks about the smell?...i think its great, but im confused as to why it never goes away....hmmm. thanks for any answers to my questions.

I know what you're talking about. It's funny, as I was reading your question, I could actually smell that odor...LOL! I don't know what it is, maybe the plastic that they use. Great, now I'm going to have to go to a toy store and sniff the Cabbage Patch Dolls.....they're probably going to throw me out.....lol!

Cabbage Patch kids smell the best, I had one called Allegra that I got for christmas about 11 years ago, but she's lost her scent now. I think they smell like baby powder combined with vanilla or something else. I want a perfume like it :)

I love this smell too! And I owned a cabbage patch for many years, still have it in fact. One day I walking past some people and I caught I whiff of the smell, but no one was carrying the doll... I knew it have to be there perfume... so I went and smelt every perfume in every shop, I still couldn't find it! It is so unique, and reminds me so much of when I was little. I was soooo close to e-mailing the company to ask about the smell, what it was... but I decided not to because they probably consider it as a 'secret' formula. I love it soooo much... it's beautiful
