Question: Cabbage patch kids what does number mean on neck?

- does the number in a box on the back of the vinyl head, near the neck represent the mold style of the head or does it stand for the number of the doll style. Does it represent something else? I have two 1985 dolls and one has #24 - she has long dark hari and one has #64 and that is a baldie. there is also a tag on the long haired one that has the number 9163 stamped on it - any ideas what this means? Thanks in advance for any collecting help you can offer.

The number on the neck means the mold number. The number on the tag could mean, the 9,163 Cabbage Patch Kid made. I know that the tags also had info on where the CPK was made.
